The day moves differently when it’s your wedding day.

Light feels softer. Mimosas taste better. (Is that even possible?) Even the chaos settles into something that feels important.

She’s been planning this day for months. But this is the hour before everything changes.

Right now, it’s just her, getting ready to marry the person who waited for the right moment just like she did.

Some things are worth documenting properly. 🤍

I'm so excited to share a preview of my dear friend Heidi's family session! She and her family are so much fun, and we had the most beautiful backdrop for their photos right on their own property.This holiday season has been one of my busiest for family portraits, and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🥹 Thank you to all my incredible clients who trust me to document your memories - it’s truly an honor. ♥️

Big news, friends! ✨ I've rebuilt my website top to bottom to bring you a more beautiful browsing experience. Along with my new website and branding comes (long overdue) new pricing - but please don't worry if you have an open quote out, I will honor all sessions and events already quoted and booked!

One of the biggest changes is that mini sessions will *only* be offered a few times a year going forward - so please make sure you're signed up for my email list to grab your session date/time when they pop up!

I spent ten days in Japan this past summer. As with all core memory vacations, I hauled my pro camera and lenses around, and it was 10/10 worth it. 🖤
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
20k steps a day, some of the best food in the most historic locations, finding wonder around literally every corner, and seeing the magic in my daughters’ eyes as they took everything in—it was absolutely the trip of a lifetime.

I used to say I was a people photographer, not a landscape photographer. I used to laugh and say you’d never know people pay me to photograph them from how bad my people-free landscapes were.

Somewhere along the way, that changed, and I value my travel photos and landscape art now more than ever. I think they tell a story of a life well lived and they fill in the gaps in memory that grow larger as we grow older.

Now I just need to follow my own advice and print some of these to hang on my walls. 🫣

When your walk down the aisle is through a field... those are my favorite kinds of weddings. More of these in 2025, please! Bring on the wildflower bouquets, sunset vows, and open skies, I'm here for all of it. 🫶

Mini session slots are OPEN for booking! 🧡🍂I know it can be hard to even IMAGINE holiday prep when it's still so hot out, but it sneaks up! And wouldn't it feel amazing to stroll into PSL season with the satisfaction of someone who's got their family photos updated and holiday cards handled?!

This year I have three mini dates open!

🤎 Sunday, September 1 - Brushy Creek Lake Park
🍁 Saturday, September 14 - Bull Creek
🎃 Sunday, October 6 - Balcones District Park

Minis are $300 for a 20 minute session, and within two weeks, you'll receive 15 high resolution, hand edited images.

IF you don't see a date that works for you but you want to get on the books, let me know ASAP so we can get you scheduled before the fall books up!
