My friends! What a wild few years it has been...

What HASN'T happened in the last few years?! 😂 I moved to Texas, got a divorce, have a high schooler playing football, started a new business(es), had some midlife health issues, learned(ing) to love myself, took my kids to Europe, wrote some songs...

If I've learned anything along the way it's that I am a multi-passionate individual and that picking a "path" just simply may not be for me. But as I've matured I've also gotten more skilled at picking up on the threads that are woven through all of the different interests, seasons and pursuits of my life.

Since living in Austin I've been offering interior design services and have been working with clients on small venue and short term rental operations. I never thought I would "officially" go back to real estate, but this spring I did finally decide to get my real estate license here in Texas... pulling on one of those threads that has been with me for nearly two decades now.

Additionally, I am pulling another one of the threads and combining my years of personal coaching experience with decades of entrepreneurship; offering business and professional transition coaching with an emphasis on team models and sustainable profitability.

Last weekend I had the immense privilege of getting to be part of facilitating a baby blessing for dear friends in Kentucky…. here are some shots of the magic! 😍

A baby blessing (or a mother blessing, sometimes traditionally called a Blessingway), is an opportunity to witness the deep initiation of becoming a mother. We create rituals with intention that help the woman to walk through this threshold knowing that she will be seen and supported in her new identity as a mother.

It’s about so much more than showering her with gifts… it’s about elevating the role of mother to one of honor; and acknowledging the death and rebirth that is happening during this beautiful season.

Such a pleasure facilitating with and blessing this new family as a community. 🙏 It was also such a joy to get to take my daughter with me on the trip… she soaked up every moment, loving the preparations, the ritual and staying up late with mama. 😻

Next weekend, Feb 3rd and 4th, I have a couple of amazing events to offer to any folks local to Austin!

On Saturday, Feb 3rd from 3-6pm, will be offering a Cooking with Love immersion on a private property in Driftwood, TX. This immersion is designed to connect you to your senses beyond recipes - invoking the love of food that connects people across all nations. You will learn to dive deep into each ingredient to understand the alchemy in cooking and reconnect to the part of you that remembers the hearth - the heart of the home. I’ve been getting lots of requests for when the next Sound Bath/Journey will be, on on Sunday, Feb 4th from 9-11:30am, I’ll be co-facilitating an immersive, nourishing journey including restorative movement, a beautiful and grounding sound bath and a delicious brunch. This will be a perfect opportunity to let go of some of the holiday/new year stress you may still be holding and lean into nourishing yourself during this winter season. From the mouths of babes… ❤️

These words are from one of my past retreat participants. Being able to witness her journey, both during and after the retreat, has been such an honor.

The real medicine of these experiences is always YOU.

We all show up with our own conditions, our own stories.

Every time I facilitate a transformational experience, there is at least one person that sits me down in the first day or two to say “I don’t think I can do this”.

Just like in birth, that’s when we know you’re RIGHT ON THE CUSP of your transition. Your breakthrough.

And then, YOU choose to walk through that Threshold. You are the medicine. Showing up for yourself is what brings the healing, the transformation.

I first read Lynne Twists a few months ago after two totally unrelated recommendations.

It came at a time when I was newly single, totally terrified of how I was going to make it all work, and still massively underwater emotionally, financially and logistically.

I never expected to be at this place in my life… I have owned multiple businesses, have known how to make money since I was fourteen when I started teaching piano lessons, and always used to feel “confident” with money.

But the last few years of my marriage and transitioning to a new career where receiving compensation for offering “healing” services did a lot of damage to my confidence. And, it turns out, I had always lived with underlying fears about not having enough… all of my “good habits” with money were really about making sure that I felt secure (which isn’t a bad thing, btw).

Enter Soul of Money. I began to recognize the scarcity mindset that was operating my financial decisions and the loss of financial autonomy that I had previously enjoyed. At the same time, I began learning a comprehensive new system for understanding and managing personal cash flow.

I am not kidding, this new combo of skills and mindset has saved my life. Miracle after miracle has entered my life, and my ability to receive AND release resources has dramatically increased.

It’s all built on a foundation of Enough (which is soooo connected to the Woman Whole Unto Herself).

I have to share it, because I believe it can change your life too.
