Optimize Your Invoicing Workflow with QuickBooks Online!
Are you looking to streamline your invoicing process in QuickBooks Online (QBO)? Follow these steps to ensure a smooth workflow from invoicing to proper payment deposit, avoiding any duplication in your bank register:
1. Create an Invoice
Initiate by creating an invoice for your client in QBO. Ensure all details are accurate for seamless processing.
2. Receive Payment
Once the client pays, record the payment in QBO. Choose the 'Receive Payment' option and link it to the respective invoice.
3. Properly Record the Payment
Record the payment against the invoice to mark it as paid. This step ensures that your accounts receivable is up to date.
4. Deposit the Payment
After recording, go to 'Banking' and select 'Make Deposits.' Include all payments to ensure they reflect accurately in your bank register.
5. Avoid Duplication
Ensure the deposit matches with the bank feed transaction to prevent duplicate income entries in your register.
