Connections hit a little different when they finally make it offline. ❤️

I had the chance to meet Ronda Jackson at the Black Business Association Black Business Day Expo in LA this weekend — and then realized we’ve actually been connected on LinkedIn for a while. 😂

I also got to attend her event and bring home her What Would You Regret? guided conversation. I’m looking forward to taking some time to really work through it.

Her message inside said, “May you always have the courage to choose YOU!” — and I think that’s a pretty good reminder for all of us building, growing and figuring out what the next chapter looks like.

So glad we finally connected in person! ❤️

One of my favorite things is discovering and supporting local businesses, so of course I had to check out Drip House Coffee! ☕✨

They just opened on June 1, and I love seeing family-owned businesses investing in our community. The shop is super cute, the atmosphere is welcoming, and their specialty lattes (Mazapán, Tres Leches, Oreo... 🤤) are definitely worth trying. They also offer lactaid and almond milk options!

If you're looking for a new coffee spot in Bakersfield, go give them some love. Small businesses thrive because of community support, and I'm always happy to share the good ones. 🫶🏽🤎
