Do your Queen Palms resemble any of these? They could be suffering from a severe nutrient deficiency, resulting in a condition called Frizzletop.

Symptoms include:

~Partial frond maturation
~Breakage and/or dropping of new green fronds
~Discolored and stunted growth from the heart of the Palm that looks “frizzy.”
~Eventual death is possible

Some contributing factors may include:

~Overwatering
~Soil compaction
~Consecutive wetter than normal years

Once a Palm starts this decline, from nutrients being “washed away” or “diluted”, it usually continues until action is taken.
