Congratulations to Central Community House on this incredible $194,000 award from the National Community Care Corps!

We’re proud to have supported this application! This investment will power a volunteer-driven effort to support older adults across eight senior communities in Columbus—expanding access to transportation, wellness and technology resources, and meaningful social connection. A huge win for seniors and for a more connected, supportive community. 💛

We are proud to share that Central Community House is a 2026 Community Care Corps grantee! https://www.communitycarecorps.org/2026-2027-grantees/

We’re honored to join an amazing group of nonprofits across the country working to strengthen support for older adults, caregivers, and communities. This investment will help us continue building connection, reducing barriers, and supporting seniors as they age at home with dignity.

It’s been a busy first quarter of 2026!

20 grant proposals submitted ✔️
Over $2.4 MILLION requested ✔️
A whole lot of coffee and carefully chosen words ✔️

Grateful to partner with nonprofits and municipalities doing important, community-centered work—and proud to help bring their ideas to life on paper.

Now we’re celebrating the only way we know how: briefly closing the laptop before opening it again for April proposals 😅.

We want to say congratulations to our friends at Hope Grove Recovery. They’ll be receiving their first grant through the Vermont Women’s Fund!

We can’t take credit for this one, but are excited for what it means for the Franklin County community!

We’re proud to be home to the Vermont Women’s Fund, which has a lot to celebrate today! They've just announce their 2025 grants totaling $359,336 going to 39 nonprofits across Vermont!

Each of these grants support programs advancing economic security and opportunity for women+, girls, and gender diverse individuals throughout the state.

As Emily Bush, director of the Vermont Women’s Fund, shared, "through targeted grantmaking, we’re investing in the leadership, wellbeing, and economic security of women and girls across the state. These funds are more than just financial support—they’re a commitment to equity and opportunity for every woman and girl in Vermont to thrive.”

Another BIG win! Congrats to our clients, Central Community House who will receive $196,386 to build a robust volunteer program for seniors in the Near East of Columbus, Ohio. Building on a philosophy of neighbors helping neighbors, volunteers will partner with seniors to meet needs related to aging comfortably and safely in-place, including: maintaining and improving housing, meeting basic needs, increasing socialization, and improving health and wellness.

Community Care Corps is pleased to announce the funding of innovative models across the country using volunteers to provide critical nonmedical assistance to family caregivers, enabling older adults and adults with disabilities to continue living independently in their own homes.

This year, Community Care Corps selected 23 organizations serving a mix of urban, suburban, rural, and Tribal communities from 17 states.

Community Care Corps, a cooperative agreement with the Administration for Community Living, is a partnership of three national nonprofit organizations: The Oasis Institute, Caregiver Action Network, and USAging.
