Beginner class wrapped. Mark Kempe was such a fun instructor. Got to practice in the pool first then we hit the open waters in the following week. First open water dive was in Veterans Park in Redondo. Second open water dive was in Casino Point in Avalon City. There we saw some Garibaldi, Swam though kelp and almost touched a sea bass.*

Wanted to welcome a guest from the West Coast, . We shot a few runways together in the past and now we tag-team across different shows. I'm a little rusty, my camera has aged and my lens is rattles, so excuse the quality. Overall, it was a fun warm up if what's to come. #

The whole bubble tea thing in disposable cups and bottles is kind of a big deal. solved that problem with their reusable boba bottle. It holds about 25 Oz. Which is pretty much the biggest boba drink you can order. I haven't gone to a bubble tea place yet that served a drink larger than that.

It doesn't have to have boba either. Its good with picking up fruit bits also and pudding. I've tried it with egg pudding, grass jelly and even just the drink alone- it does a good job.

Another successful project from . The card game is now an RPG you can play with 2-6 players. Their first card game was so fun,no decided to get their other games,too. Now I just have to find someone to play with a d learn how to play this one haha. *

It's been a while, but I was able to get DIY Pizza kit from and build my own pizza.
Since we couldn't all meet in one place, we did a Zoom event with the owner who had walked us through making the pizza with the kit.

Here's what you'll need from your home:
+ Pre-heat the oven to 475 degrees.
+ A 1-2 tbsp of flour.
+ A baking sheet or pizza stone (12" x 12" minimum).
+ A brush to spread the sauce (a spoon or ladle will also work)
+ Oil

If you choose to purchase your own ingredients, here's what you'll need:
+ Store-bought pizza dough
+ Toppings of your choice
+ Mozzarella Cheese
+ Pizza sauce

It's very simple to make especially with the dough already made. The hardest part is flattening jt. You can also get creative and add your own ingredients. I added ground beef on mine and replaced the sauce with pesto then ... MADE A CALZONE. Muahaha

They also have a Michelada kit for you to take home. *

Hsi Lai Temple, the North American Regional Headquarters of Fo Guang Shan, was built to serve as a spiritual and cultural center for those interested in learning more about Buddhism and Chinese culture. It is the intention of its founder, Venerable Master Hsing Yun, to propagate Humanistic Buddhism and to create a Pure Land here on earth. Hsi Lai Temple is built to fulfill these goals in the United States.

Situated in Hacienda Heights in the Los Angeles county, Hsi Lai Temple is one of the largest Buddhist temples in North America. The temple's foundational ideology is Humanistic Buddhism which seeks to propagate Buddhist teachings through education, cultural outreach, community services, and spiritual practice. In this pursuit, Hsi Lai Temple has hosted numerous local and international events, including Chinese Spring Festival which, during its two week period, welcomes an average of 20,000 visitors per day.

Hsi Lai Temple encompasses 15 acres and a floor area of over 100,000 square feet. The temple's architecture, gardens and statuary are faithful to the traditional style of Chinese monasteries from the Ming (1268--1644) and Qing (1644--1911) dynasties. The ten-year planning and construction was completed in 1988. Hsi Lai means "Coming to the West" and signifies the dedication of the Fo Guang Shan Buddhist Order to spread the teachings of the Buddha to those in the West. The International Buddhist Progress Society, a nonprofit organization, is the chartered name for the temple.

The new Nex Series gaming chair from DXRacer is the more affordable option to game comfortably without digging a deep hole on your pocket.
-
Unlike the $400 DXRacer Racer Series (Blue Left), the Nex Series chair(Black right) does not come with a neck and lumbar pillow (WYSIWYG).
-
The Nex chair also is made mostly with fabric secured by metal rings. And is much much lighter than the Racer chair. As you can see side by side, the back is also not as tall.

The leather on the Racer Series does make it much easier to clean, and much more difficult to rip, but the Nex overall does the job. They both recline and glides smoothly on flat or carpeted surfaces like mine.
