There’s a big difference between having an idea and building it into your business.

Marsha had been thinking about her new offer for a long time. With a clear 90-day plan, she’s not just thinking about it anymore. She’s executing. She’s having conversations. She’s starting to see how this idea can become a real, repeatable part of her business.

That’s what I love about her experience with FLARE.

It’s not about adding more things to do. It’s about having a framework that makes sense and enough structure to help you move forward with clarity.

Marsha, thank you for trusting me and the FLARE community to be part of what you’re building. I’m excited to see where you take it.

There’s a big difference between hoping your business will grow and building it in a way that makes growth feel possible.

Tricia’s words here really stayed with me:

“With the structure I’ve created, the success of my business now feels inevitable.”

That’s the shift.

Most of the business owners I work with aren’t lacking ideas, ambition, or expertise. They’ve already proven they can build something people want.

What they’re often missing is the structure underneath it.

A clearer business model. Better systems. More intentional decisions about where their time and energy go. A plan that supports where they’re headed instead of keeping them tied to how they’ve always done things.

Watching Tricia build that foundation, grow tremendously, and feel more grounded in where her business is going has been such a privilege.

This is what sustainable growth can look like.

She'd spent a month deciding she wasn't good enough. The real story was that two-thirds of her outreach never arrived.

She'd sent outreach to about 60 HR directors. Almost nothing came back.

By the time we talked, she had already decided what it meant. The offer was wrong. Her positioning was off. Maybe she wasn't the right person to be doing this.

So we checked the sending, because that's cheap and quick.

Of the 60, only about 20 had actually received her messages.

Forty people never got the email. They weren't unimpressed. They weren't too busy. They never saw it.

I got to say the nicest sentence in my job that week: they weren't ignoring you.

Here's the part I want you to take:

"Nobody's responding" is a feeling. It is not a diagnosis.

Feelings point at your worth. Diagnostics point at a system. And a system can be fixed on a Tuesday afternoon.

Before you rewrite the offer, before you rebuild the funnel, before you decide you're bad at this, check whether the message is being delivered at all. Check the spam placement. Check the domain warm-up. Check what your open tracking actually says.

I'd much rather iron this out now than when the leads are pouring in and there's real money on the table.

New episode of FoundHer Rising is out.

Rebecca Gerlach filled her solo therapy caseload in four months. Then she hired, and ran straight into the problem most practice owners don't expect. Clients still only wanted to see her.

We talk about the rebrand that fixed it, the one hire that finally let her step out of the day to day, and the moment she decided she didn't want a bigger practice.
That last part might be the most useful thing in the episode. She's not stalled. She priced the tradeoff and chose the ceiling on purpose.

If client growth is the constraint, you do not need more numbers. You need the right ones.

With my clients, we keep the weekly scorecard simple:

Leads per week — are new people entering the funnel?
Conversations started — are those leads turning into real sales conversations?
Clients signed — is the system actually converting?

Those three numbers tell you where to look next.
Low leads? You have a visibility or demand problem.
Leads are coming in but conversations are low? You likely have an engagement or follow-up problem.
Conversations are happening but clients signed stay flat? You likely have a messaging, offer, or sales problem.

This is why I teach founders to track their most important metrics.

Not every number belongs on your weekly scorecard.
Not every financial metric needs your attention every week.
And tracking more does not automatically create clarity.

With my clients, we start with the numbers that help you decide what to do next.

Because the goal is not to become a better data collector.
The goal is to become a calmer, clearer decision-maker.

There’s a point in growing a business when being good at what you do isn’t the problem.

You’ve built something successful. People trust you. The demand is there.

But the business has become more complex, and figuring out what comes next while you’re still responsible for everything happening today is a lot to carry.

That’s why I value the kind of partnership Charis describes here.

My role isn’t to hand my clients a formula and tell them to follow it. It’s to understand the business they’ve built, where they want to take it, and what matters to them along the way.

Then we figure out what needs to change to get there.

Sometimes that’s strategy. Sometimes it’s systems, team, or financial clarity. And sometimes it’s asking the question they’re simply too close to the business to see.

Because scaling shouldn’t require you to become a different kind of business owner.

It should help you become a more confident one.
