Never underestimate the wood in your yard!
This 13"+ diameter cottonwood branch was pruned out for me up higher than I want to be these days. Now to slab it up and sticker it to dry for a couple years! Since it isn't wide enough for 1 piece blanks I'll book match a couple 2-1/4" slabs for a bookmatched blank in a couple years & some 1-1/4" to bookmatch for tops in about a year. Over the jointer to get a smooth face on one side and onto the badsaw!

Buffing a guitar! More of an overview. You can also use foam pads on drill which I sometimes still do to touchup areas or doing a final swirl remove buff. It is always best to use a dust mask when not doing a video as it create very fine dust.

Had the joy of milling up some maple burls for a local lady last week from a massive 200+ year old maple tree that came to an end some months ago. She got a some gorgeous pieces with a couple left for myself for my part. Big enough for a tele top & thick enough for a few of them, once dry in 1-2 years.

Time to strip a 65' Gibson Firebird of a nitrocellulose lacquer finish, the easy way. Lacquer thinner or acetone, plenty of rags, a quality respirator, nitrile gloge, and good ventilation are a must. All while doing my reverse Wilson Home Improvements impersonation!
