Seeing growth is what we’re all about! Sarah Hannah exemplifies growth. She invests in herself and it pays dividends! How lucky we are to support her in that!

The older I get, the less I believe life needs to fit neatly into separate boxes (or walls). Business, wellness, creativity and purpose don't compete with one another, they make each other stronger. That's the kind of life I'm building, and days like that spent with remind me of I'm exactly where I need to be.

Two weeks ago I got to experience Today's Office View for the second time. 🌊

This was my second sound bath on the water this year, and I'm pretty sure it's becoming one of my favorite places to create these experiences.

There’s something different about being surrounded by water. The movement of the boat, the breeze, the sounds of nature and the vibrations of the bowls all come together in a way that's hard to describe. You don't just hear the sound—you feel it.

It's also a reminder of something I've been thinking about a lot lately. The work I do through Second Life Careers & Solutions and SLH Yoga & Wellness may seem like two different worlds, but they're both centered around the same idea: helping people find clarity. Sometimes that happens through a website strategy session, and sometimes it happens while floating on the water with a singing bowl in your lap, connecting with amazing coaches.

I'm grateful for opportunities like this that remind me work can be meaningful, fulfilling and even a little magical. A deep and heart felt thank you to and of -s-office-view for a beautiful day on the water. It is always amazing and illuminating for mind, body, soul and business.

🌊 A rising tide lifts all boats, or so they say.

❓But what about when that rising tide is caused by a storm? As we’ve weathered this strong nor’easter, we got to thinking about business storms.

💨 This storm gave us time to prepare. Thankfully that worked, but we all know that in business, you don’t always get time to prepare. Sometimes you’re just left to clean up the debris.

⁉️ When that happens, where do you turn? Who do you trust to show you your blind spots and help find the lessons that need to be learned from the storm?

☀️ Eventually, even the worst storms pass and the sun returns. The lucky ones escape major damage. The smart ones learn something. The wise ones apply that knowledge to the next storm.

🛥️ Our inaugural season was filled with business owners weathering some kind of storm. Now we get to watch them take the lessons and the insights and the ideas, and build even stronger businesses!
