Rusty Yates takes the Old Glory stage at 11:30. Rusty Yates is from Baton Rouge, Louisiana and has played music venue’s throughout the United States and Canada in his music career. Rusty is considered by many to be one of the premier performer’s in the country. Although Rusty has his own sound, the media has been quoted as saying that “Rusty’s music brings to mind the best of Delbert McClinton, Vocals comparable to BB King, but with a touch of old school Ray”. The Rusty Yates Band just won the IMEA 2014 Band of the year and Song of the Year “Cryin Cryin Cryin, and just released their second Album in two years. Rusty’s recently released “PASSION” album is already getting high praise from both fans and media. Rusty Yates carries with him a band of seasoned performers that bring it every show. Rusty has taken the music that has influenced him most as he was growing up as a kid in Louisiana and continued a sound that his Grandfather (The Evangelist Preacher) and the Great Soul and R&B Performer’s both past and present can be proud of.
