Ceramics projects have been on hold while I’ve been busy BUT I’m in a drawing class right now and just finished my first project! The assignment was to draw 5+ hands on a 18x24 sheet of paper. Being in ASL III I knew it had to be signs. It took a lot of work and the only experience drawing hands is the one I drew before this project… I’m honestly surprised with how it came out. This one is done with compressed graphite. Bonus points if you know enough ASL to know what it says 😂

A couple of the cutest crochet items I’ve made… the elephant was a commission for a coworker who got it for a family member who used to volunteer working with elephants. Peaches the mammoth I made for myself and she may be my favorite make ever… BUT when I say she was a labor of love that took 8+ hours?! I mean c’mon look at that hair! 🦣

Keep forgetting I didn’t take any good pictures of these at the end of last semester. These were the last projects I fired in the kiln at Delta and they’re some of my favorites! Slug mug + slug bowl. Added the white ring on the bowl (the initial glaze was peeling) and I think it still works. 🤷🏻‍♀️🐌
