I wanted to take the time to give you a little back story about GTC Excavation and my role in it. With 23 years experience operating Heavy equipment; my journey started when I was 14 years old on a High Lift/ Track loader digging out our basement for our house. I learned right then, I was going to be a Third generation operator. My grandfather was Foreman on a road construction company for many years, after the company retired; He then moved to mining at Short Mountain Silica, Where he was Foreman there as well. My father now Foremen over the mine, me and my three brothers worked there for many years, two of which still do. I know operate this excavation company For my Great friend Shane Gust. Shane has Been in business for over 30 years building Log Homes all across the Country, Primarily in the South East. Gust Timbercraft Log Homes, LLC
He decided start this sister company, GTC Excavation, And we are steadily growing the business, gaining new customers weekly. It's always a journey starting a new business. You face challenges of a heavily competitive Trade. Getting your name out there and proving you are capable of doing the job properly, and promptly. Trust and honesty between the customer and us is the most important thing that we value here at GTC. That's why im taking to time this morning to give you a little back story to our capabilities. Did some screening for a customer, on a Farm that’s been in their family since the 1700’s , The goal was to find some old Antique Bricks from an old plantation house, that the family want to make something creative out of it.

Roughly 300 pieces is all I could find, after the Big Flood of hurricane Helen ripped down the Nolichucky River.
