A lot goes on behind the scenes when adding a new EV charger at home.

For this project in Goode, we installed a NEMA 14-50 outlet for Level 2 charging and included a surge suppressor to meet the latest National Electrical Code. The install meant careful routing of new wiring and conduit, plus a last-minute change to relocate the charger for better access. We also made sure the panel was set up to protect the whole system from unexpected power surges.
