Brett is making great progress on his first Garmin GFC500 auto pilot installation in Command Aviation's flight school trainer. Another panel and avionics upgrade completed at Six Pack Aero's shop at KBLI. This little 150L came in for Garmin G5's, a GPS 175, and a new aluminum panel as well as a few other things to help modernize the old layout. We upgraded the crumbling control yokes to these factory new Cessna yokes, allowing the owners to have their push-to-talk switches mounted in a much more desirable manner on the yoke handle. As our first project as a new Garmin dealer, we were excited to bring IFR capability to this training aircraft. We hope the owners of this aircraft enjoy flying it for many more years to come.

Pleased to be closing out 2025 with seeing a great article from our friend BJ Spratt in AOPA: Pilot Magazine. The article explains BJ's upgrade to a Garmin G3X panel system in his 1973 172M Skyhawk and the struggle he faced with the install process. Needless to say, Six Pack Aero helped give BJ his Dream Panel in the eleventh hour!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to our customers and followers. This has been a year of changes and milestones for our company and we are thankful to all who have supported us and shared in the adventure along the way, and especially to all who allowed us the pleasure of upgrading their aircraft this year!

As we wrap up 2025 in the next couple of weeks, we reflect back on our accomplishments this year, including receiving our Part 145 Repair Station and becoming the PNW's newest Garmin Aviation dealer! With many new capabilities coming in the next year, we are looking forward to the many ways we will be able to upgrade and service General Aviation aircraft.

Here's to wrapping up an eventful 2025 and looking forward to even more to come in 2026!

New: A Smaller, Lighter Mode-S Transponder with ADS-B Out

We are excited to announce the SV-XPNDR-263 - a TSO Mode-S Transponder module with ADS-B Out capability designed for use with SkyView HDX and Advanced AF series avionics systems.

Based on the Trig TT23 compact transponder recently introduced by the Dynon Group, the SV-XPNDR-263 is both smaller and lighter than its predecessors.

Some of you may have noticed recently that we had a slight name change on our page. We have, after nearly six years of creating custom instrument panels as owner produced parts, grown far beyond what we would have imagined when this journey started out as building new panels for our own 172 back in 2018.

Over the last 18 months, we have moved into a 60x60 hangar at KBLI and received our Part 145 Repair Station. This has allowed us to be able to expand the services and products that we offer to our customers.

In the last six years, we have sold over 350 panels as owner produced parts to customers all over the world, and we are thankful to each and every one of those aircraft owners and the relationships that this endeavor has allowed us to build. Through the creation of our Legacy XL Stationary Panel STC we have been able to create a product which aids us in pursuit of our mission to continue to keep the Cessna 172 fleet flying for 100 years.

In order to better serve our customers and keep pursuing our goal of servicing the legacy fleet of Cessna aircraft, starting January 2026 we are shifting our focus away from sending out instrument panels as owner produced parts, to instead servicing our customers and their aircraft directly in our hangar at KBLI. Six Pack Aero now offers top quality avionics and airframe services, installing avionics, performing airframe repairs and upgrades, and installing custom panels in house.

In partnership with Command Aviation, a Textron Service Center, we offer all manner of aircraft maintenance at KBLI including annual inspections. With this partnership we can offer industry leading experience and knowledge of Textron/Cessna products with direct parts sales. Our leadership has over sixty years of combined experience and we are looking to continue to grow and offer services to the Cessna owner community. Our shop offers the following services:

Avionics Installations & Airframe Upgrades
Legacy XL Stationary Panel Kits (installation and sales)
Cover Panel Fabrication for In House Installation
Fleet Panel Upgrades (Fabrication for fleets of 2 or more like aircraft)
And coming soon: 91.411/91.413 inspections!
