According to Visit New Hampshire’s October 6 foliage report, the Lakes Region is currently seeing about **35–50% color change**, with more color continuing to develop across the region.

The report notes new shades of fall around Newfound Lake, an “explosion of color” around Plymouth, and recommends Route 113 north from Holderness for some especially colorful scenery this week.

Around the Lakes Region, the mix of green is increasingly giving way to the reds, oranges, golds and auburn shades that make this time of year so special.
