Plan.It Design, LLC full-service residential interior design firm founded in 2005, specializing in creative, personalized touches that won't bust your budget!

Plan.It Design was founded in 2005, when after 7 years of doing part time residential work; I decided to pursue my dream of a design firm ‘full time’. With the blessing of two busy baby boys in 2006 and 2007, the company quickly became a part time venture again! Now, with both of my boys in public school, I am enjoying a more flexible schedule and more time to focus on a company I love and my passion for interior design. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Winthrop University and spent the first few years of my design career focused on commercial design & construction management. While I loved the experience and the exposure, nothing could match the personal connection I enjoyed making with my residential clients! I feel so blessed to have such a myriad of amazing clients and am always excited to meet new faces and tackle new spaces!

Sometimes, the best way to make room for creativity is to step away from it for a little while 🤍

We’re incredibly grateful for the trust our clients place in us and for the opportunity to create spaces that feel like home. But even the work you love requires time to rest, reset & find inspiration again.

So, John & Jodi are going to be out of the office 10.03–10.09 to unplug, explore & recharge. Our amazing team will still be here taking great care of our clients while they’re away!

Designed for the guy who’s always thinking about the next round ⛳️

The best spaces reflect the people who live in them. We love incorporating hobbies and interests into our designs to make each space more meaningful.

Sometimes, efficiency is part of the design.

For this local rental property, our client needed a quick turnaround with little to no lead time to maximize efficiency between tenants.

With one bathroom being gutted, another renovated, and a third being added, there were a lot of decisions to make! We pulled every finish — tile, grout, stone tops, cabinetry, hardware, paint, plumbing, lighting, mirrors & more — all in one afternoon AND under budget. 🙌🏼

Every project has its own goals and its own definition of success. For this one, it meant making thoughtful selections quickly, staying on budget, and keeping the project moving.

Now, we can’t wait to see it all come together!

How to make your interior designer’s day 💌

There’s nothing we love more than hearing that a space feels like you. From trusting us with the unexpected details to letting us push you a little outside your comfort zone, these are the words that make what we do so special.

The best spaces are created with a little vision, a lot of trust, and clients who let us do what we love.
