There can be a large gap between a participant saying, “That was a great leadership session,” and actually doing something differently at work.
That gap matters.
So instead of ending only with reflection, one of the questions we use is:
What will you do differently in the next 24 hours?
The 24-hour window forces the learning toward something real.
Schedule the conversation.
Try the coaching question.
Give the feedback.
Change the way you handle the next moment of conflict.
Then set a reminder so the commitment doesn’t disappear when work gets busy again.
Leadership development earns its value when new ideas become new behavior.
If your organization is trying to make that happen more consistently, we should talk.
