Summer is the worst time to find out your refrigeration equipment is struggling.

High ambient temperatures force refrigeration units to work harder, amplifying problems that might have gone unnoticed in cooler months. Dirty condenser coils, worn door gaskets and refrigerant issues are among the most common culprits.

A planned maintenance visit before peak summer volume is the most reliable way to spot these vulnerabilities early and avoid a critical breakdown when you can least afford it.

At Alliance Mechanical Services, our people care deeply, not just about the work, but about the people we serve.

Our Dispatch Manager, Michelle Sabin, put together this heartfelt care package for one of our customers who is currently battling cancer. A blanket, a warrior mug, some comfort items, and a little reminder that they are not fighting alone.

This is what community looks like. πŸ’™

We're wishing you strength, courage, and a full recovery. You've got a whole team in your corner.

Your refrigeration runs around the clock, and when it's not properly maintained, it uses more energy than it should.

When your units are working harder to hold temperature, that extra effort shows up on your utility bill and increases your operation's overall energy footprint.

There's a direct connection between equipment upkeep and sustainability. Equipment running at peak condition consumes less power, produces less waste heat, and extends the useful life of the equipment. Keeping your cold side in good shape is the responsible choice.

Some careers are measured in years. Others are measured in the lives they touch, the problems they solve, and the teammates they mentor along the way.

Today, we're celebrating two of the very best.

After almost 40 years with Alliance, Greg has retired from his role as an HVAC/R Technician. Greg joined our team in October 1986 and for nearly four decades, he showed up with the skill, work ethic, and steady hand that customers and coworkers alike came to count on.

Harrell is also hanging up his tools after nearly 21 years as a Foodservice Technician. Since August 2005, Harrell has been the kind of technician every team hopes for: dependable, knowledgeable, and always willing to lend a hand.

Together, that's more than 60 years of dedicated service. πŸ‘

Careers like these don't happen by accident. They happen when skilled people find a place where their craft is valued, their growth is supported, and their team feels like family. That's what we strive to build every day at Alliance and across the Tech24 family. Greg and Harrell are living proof.

Congratulations, gentlemen. Thank you for everything you've given to this team, our customers, and the trade. Enjoy every minute of retirement, you've more than earned it. πŸŽ‰

As ambient temperatures rise, refrigeration equipment works harder. Condenser coils running warm, thermostat calibration that's drifted, and door gaskets worn through a busy spring all compound when summer peaks.

Refrigeration failures don't announce themselves in advance. A proactive cold-side inspection now is cheaper than an emergency call in July.

Schedule preventative maintenance now and keep your cold-side equipment running all summer.

National No Dirty Dishes Day is a good reminder that the equipment doing the cleaning needs to be maintained too.

When water temperature is off, spray arms are blocked, or chemical concentrations drift, sanitation suffers β€” and so does your inspection score. A properly serviced commercial dishwasher is cleaner AND compliant.

Not all service calls end the same way. The difference between a repair that holds and one that fails again in 30 days usually comes down to the technician. Their diagnostic approach, their familiarity with the equipment, and their ability to identify root cause rather than symptoms is vital.
