There is something so special about photographing a brand-new baby, but I especially love when we can weave a little family history into the session.

This sweet baby girl wore the very same dress her mama wore when she was a baby. Seeing her photographed in something that has been loved and saved all these years made these images feel even more meaningful.

From snuggles with Mom and Dad to all those tiny newborn details, this session was filled with the sweetest moments. One day, sheโ€™ll get to look back at these photographs and know that the little dress she wore once belonged to her mama. What a beautiful piece of their story to preserve. ๐ŸŽ€

In just a few short weeks, theyโ€™ll be holding the little one theyโ€™ve been dreaming about. I loved capturing this beautiful chapter before their family of two becomes a family of three.
