What to expect when you get your first spray tan:
*Prior to spray tanning: it is recommended that you shave and wash with a gentle exfoliant the night before.
*Right before getting sprayed: remove any skin barriers before getting sprayed, lotion, jewelry, makeup, etc.
#1 Question....what do I wear: wear loose fitting dark clothing. During your spray tan, however you are the most comfortable meaning, as little or as much as you want to wear, depends on if you want tan lines or no tan lines.
After: after your spray tan you will need to wait a minimum of 8 hours to rinse afterwards. During this time period you need to avoid getting wet.
*How long does it last? This depends on your skin's natural exfoliation. The faster your skin turns over, the faster the sunless tan will fade. The tan created by the DHA affects only the top layer of the skin and will start to fade after about 5 days as the skin naturally begins to exfoliate. There are ways to help prolong the life of you tan, getting the hydrofirm upgrade, and keeping your skin moisturized after your spray tan can help maintain your tanning results a little longer.
