Is your Shopify store “invisible” to AI? 🤖🕵️‍♂️

I’m at the Shopify booth at NRF 2026 and the game has officially changed. If you want your products to show up-and actually be purchasable-inside ChatGPT, you have to meet the new Native Checkout requirements.

The 2 Big Requirements for 2026:
✅ Shopify Payments is MANDATORY: To complete a sale inside the LLM interface without redirecting to your site, you must have Shopify Payments enabled.

✅ Data > Meta: LLMs primarily reason with your body_html field. While your SEO meta descriptions are great for Google, ChatGPT often ignores them and cannot directly “see” custom metafields unless they are mirrored in your main description.

3 Quick Fixes to do NOW:
1️⃣ Move Critical Data: Pull certifications and materials out of hidden metafields and into your body_html.
2️⃣ Real-time Sync: AI agents filter out any variant where available_for_sale isn’t true in real-time.
3️⃣ Conversational Descriptions: Write for humans AND agents. Use “Best for [scenario]” instead of just technical specs.

The brands that win in 2026 won’t have the biggest ad budget-they’ll have the cleanest data. 📊

Ecom brands: stop chasing “aesthetic.” Start chasing results.

We worked with a brand that had a beautiful site.

But they were stuck at a 1.46% conversion rate.

We rebuilt key landing pages with user experience and CRO in mind. Clean CTA hierarchy, simplified product selection, frictionless navigation - and conversion rate jumped to 2.32%.

That’s a 59% increase in revenue with no change in ad spend.
