Today’s member is Val Parziale!

Val Parziale is a local insurance agent. She has a background in higher education, entrepreneurship, and over 10 years of experience working in the service industry. She currently resides in Biddeford with her wife and their fur babies! They like to explore the local food scene, go on nature walks, and enjoy all of the beauty Maine has to offer.

As an insurance agent, Val can provide you insurance from a variety of different insurance carriers, saving you time and providing you with options. She can cover your auto, home, renters, landlord, pet, boat, trailer, RV, umbrella, flood insurance, annuities and life insurance. Val works with you throughout the whole process and gives you a chance to understand your coverage and what it means to be properly protected. She is really excited to be a part of the steering committee for the Biddeford S**o Young Professionals group because it means she gets to connect with more young people in the community and help each other grow!

Today's member is Walid Fahmy!

Walid Fahmy, holds a Master’s degree MBA and brings over 15 years of experience in the banking industry, with a diverse background spanning loan operations, back-office functions, Asset & Liability Management (ALM), and Treasury. A certified dealer by the ACI Dealing Certificate (ACI-DC), Walid, has also delivered professional training in Treasury and financial markets to banking professionals and adult learners for more than 3 years.

Having relocated to the United States 14 months ago, he continues his career as a banker at Bangor Savings Bank.

Meet YPG's Steering Committee Members!

Today's member is Matthew (Matty) Sudsbury-Francois!

Matthew is the community impact manager at Trademark Federal Credit Union. Having been in the banking industry for 9 years, he embodies the people helping people philosophy of Credit Unions. Serving the Biddeford community that he calls home as well as he can, Matthew serves on the board for two local non-profits, Seeds of Hope and Youth Full Maine, where he can help the cities most vulnerable.

Matthew moved to Biddeford in 2019 with his husband, Alex, and grew up in Southern Maine. Biddeford has truly become his home, and he deeply enjoys watching the city grow and prosper to where it is today. Having just added a very energized English Springer puppy to the family, much of his free time is spent walking and enjoying the Eastern Trail and the many S**o Bay trails the area has to offer.

Meet YPG’s Steering Committee Members!

Today’s member is Rosalie Turner!

Rosalie is a plant and animal lover, musician, songwriter, reader, (new) roller skater, and longtime skier. She recently moved back to Maine and currently works as the Compliance Manager for the City of S**o’s Water Resource Recovery Department. In this role, she has the opportunity to expand her passion of advocating for environmental protection of our waterways and help address urban planning challenges related to natural resource conservation.
Rosalie is really excited to be part of this group and to support an initiative that brings people together—to network, create fun and inclusive events, and help foster connections that support our passions, professions, and careers.
