You are invited to participate in the Charlotte Alternative Fuels Vehicle Ride & Drive, taking place Thursday, October 1st from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Charlotte Vehicle Operations Center (2801 Beam Road, Charlotte, NC 28217).

This drop in event is designed to help government agencies, utilities, and commercial fleet operators explore next generation transportation solutions. Attendees will have the opportunity to test drive alternatively fueled vehicles and engage directly with providers of heavy , medium , and light duty technologies, along with emerging micromobility options.

For vendors and technology partners, this event provides a unique forum to connect with fleet managers and decision makers who are shaping the region’s long term strategy for cleaner, more efficient operations.

Why your participation matters:

Organizations across the public and private sectors are accelerating their transitions toward cleaner fleets. Your involvement helps these agencies and businesses gain hands on exposure to the technologies that enable operational resilience, cost savings, emissions reduction, and long term sustainability planning. This event supports informed decision making and strengthens collaboration across the regional fleet ecosystem.

Vendor & Partner Participation:

We welcome vehicle manufacturers, equipment providers, infrastructure partners, and related service organizations to display vehicles, showcase equipment, or host informational tables. There is no vendor fee to participate. Optional sponsorship opportunities are also available for organizations seeking enhanced visibility and engagement.

How you can support:

• Share this event with your teams and encourage attendance.
• Identify staff or customers who would benefit from firsthand exposure to alternative fuel technologies.
• Consider sending representatives to discuss products, answer technical questions, and participate in demonstrations.
