LOUDER THAN LUX 08.21.26
Round one of photos: B+W Edition
These shots came from a friend of a friend, someone who decided last minute to come out and help shoot the show for us. I’m seriously so grateful for the people who are willing to jump in, bring their creativity, and help document what we’re building here. Thank you, Ken, for capturing the night through your eyes. 🤘🏼📸
Thank you to everyone who came out and showed up for live music. Self Diagnosed , thank you for traveling as far as you did to play for us. Day X Day, thank you for continuing to trust fam to bring you to Billings for home shows. And Pressureknot always, thank you for coming in and bringing in the absolute heat.
And my dear friend Casey Hulteng, thank you for keeping the music alive between sets and while bands were tearing down and packing up. That part of the night can get chaotic and overstimulating fast, and being able to read the room and keep the energy alive through all of that is its own skill!
I’ll keep saying this because it matters.. IF WE WANT A MUSIC SCENE WE HAVE TO SHOW UP FOR IT. 💯💯
Bands can’t keep traveling hundreds, sometimes thousands of miles to pay for empty rooms. Venues can’t keep opening their doors if nobody walks through them. People can’t keep pouring their time, money, energy and heart into creating these nights if they start to feel like nobody is coming.
Every ticket bought, every person going through that door, every band you stay to watch matters. It tells the artists, the venues and everyone behind the scenes that it’s worth doing again.
A scene doesn’t survive just because the talent exists. It survives because people show up for it, support it.
Thank you to EACH AND EVERY ONE of you who continue to show up for this. That’s how we keep this thing alive. 🤘🏼
