That’s exactly what happened at The Big 3: ChatGPT vs. Claude vs. Perplexity.

In partnership with the Birmingham Business Resource Center, From Scratch Business Advisory Services brought entrepreneurs together for a hands-on workshop focused on using AI to actually run and grow a business.

We didn’t just talk about AI.

We showed business owners how to use these tools for marketing, research, operations, financial decision-making, pricing, planning, productivity, and the everyday work that comes with running a business.

And most importantly, we broke down which tool to use, when to use it, and why.

This is the work we love doing at From Scratch!

We partner with organizations, community groups, municipalities, and small business programs to develop practical workshops and programming that give entrepreneurs tools they can put to work immediately.

Our goal is bigger than teaching technology. It’s helping small businesses build stronger systems, make better decisions, operate more efficiently, and become better prepared to grow.

A huge thank you to BBRC for continuing to invest in small business education and creating opportunities for entrepreneurs to learn, connect, and build.

The Big 3 was a workshop, but the bigger mission is building stronger businesses and stronger communities.

What started as an idea to help entrepreneurs become truly READY turned into something bigger than I imagined. May marked the culmination of the inaugural Entrepreneur Readiness Program, and I’m honestly still processing how powerful it was to watch these business owners step into confidence, structure, and growth.

For 5 weeks, these entrepreneurs showed up after work, pushed through fear, asked hard questions, fixed broken systems, learned their numbers, strengthened their businesses, and committed to becoming fundable, sustainable, and prepared for the next level. Nothing about entrepreneurship is easy, and this room was full of people who decided to keep going anyway.

One of the biggest moments of the night was awarding the $1,000 business award to help continue investing into a growing business and vision. But truthfully, every entrepreneur in that room walked away with something valuable, clarity, strategy, community, and belief in themselves.

This program was built for the entrepreneurs who are tired of guessing and ready to move differently. The ones willing to stop just “having a business” and start building a real foundation.

To every new entrepreneur reading this, your next level requires more than motivation. It requires structure, discipline, education, systems, and ex*****on. Don’t be afraid to take the next step. Start imperfect. Ask questions. Learn. Get in rooms that challenge you. Your business deserves that level of commitment.
