His love for photography began in his teen years when he would take out old family 35MM cameras and experiment and shoot anything from sports to bands. Later on Charlie began to photograph some of the local bands in the Birmingham music scene and would often be found at 5 Points South Music Hall watching and photographing bands. After a hiatus from 2003-2006 Charlie came back in 2006 as a freelanc
e photographer. The first band that he had the privilege to photograph was Chevelle. Since 2006, Charlie was the in house photographer for the re-opened 5 Points Music Hall, has worked with many new clients from bands to models, and is the current in house photographer for the venue Zydeco in Birmingham,AL. Charlie’s main focus is in music photography but he also offer services in other areas as well including family portraits, senior portraits, nightclub events, and weddings.
