🎡 DAY 5: SURVIVED! TODAY WE TAKE ON DAY 6! 😂

Yesterday was another good one! I finally got to finish painting my lure 🎨🎣, talked to even more people about Create-A-Lure, and—most importantly—continued my very serious State Fair food research.

🌭 Pronto Pup acquired. Because corn dogs are fine… but Pronto Pups are what corn dogs wish they could be. 😂
🧀 Nachos acquired because apparently I believe vegetables are optional during the fair.

🎯 SIDE QUEST UPDATE: Still accepting recommendations for things I absolutely *need* to eat, drink, find, or buy before these 12 days are over. Clearly I can be influenced. 😂

High-end built-in GE not cooling. Suspected a sealed system leak, and the suspicion was accurate. The unit has a leak in the Yoder loop. After three hours of searching, it was confirmed. Unfortunately for the customer, there are only two options: inject the sealed system with leak sealant, which has a 50/50 chance of prolonging its life, or replacement. We do what we can, but unfortunately, bad news does occur. Here at Fixsota, we take the time to determine what is in the best interest of the customer, whether that's repair or replacement. Monster commercial ice machine repair yesterday. The unit needed cleaning, and the harvest cycle needed adjustment. The unit would not release the slab of ice, causing slow production. The harvest was adjusted so the gas valve stays open 2 seconds longer to ensure every slab is released, boosting ice production. This baby pumps out one slab every 13 minutes. The KitchenAid ice machine's hot gas valve failed. I installed a new hot gas valve, and now the refrigerant flow can be reversed to allow the ice slab to release from the evaporator plate.
