After weeks of waiting this orchid has bloomed!

It’s cleaning day! This hydro table is used for plants the need bottom watering, and orchids. The orchids are in clay or ceramic orchid pots. Orchids are a lot like an air plant. They don’t like an every wet or dry environment. They also don’t like it to be hot. The orchids sit in the water, not for watering them. The water acts as a temperature control along with a fan and keeps them cool.

Putting aside all political views of this article. It has some valid points on how serene and peaceful plant life can be. It offers a retreat and tranquil space. Which is much needed in the world currently. We can all learn a thing or two from plants. The growth cycles, the work it takes to keep them alive and thriving. Sometimes they just offer us clean air and a space to be calm, other times they can be a place to put energy into and focus on something simple. Remember in the chaos of the world currently, to enjoy the small things and simply breathe in the good stuff. Exhale the bad stuff.

I may not be able to save the world from Donald Trump, but I can save my plants from root rot and spider mites
