Most systems dry the air only as a side effect of cooling, so when they cycle off at night and on weekends, the damp stays and things start growing where nobody looks.

Comfort is a specification, not a feeling.

Most DOAS equipment satisfies one setpoint and lets the other drift. Dry bulb gets met, dew point doesn't — so the space overcools, then gets reheated to make it habitable. Energy spent twice to arrive at cold and clammy.

BF-DOAS™ controls dry bulb and dew point independently. TE-Sal™ technology strips moisture to a dew point setpoint first; an indirect evaporative process then handles sensible load to the dry bulb setpoint. Both loads are satisfied on purpose, not as a byproduct.

What that means at the building:
• 55°F dew point at room-neutral supply, no reheat penalty
• Spaces stay dry, mold-free, and positively pressurized
• Capacity and efficiency climb with ambient temperature, so design-day oversizing comes off the table
• Occupant complaints stop being a line item

Today is National HVAC Tech Day. And we mean it when we say thank you. 🛠️

HVAC technicians work in attics in July. On rooftops in January. In mechanical rooms that nobody else ever sees.

When a family sleeps comfortably through a Florida summer, that's a technician. Nobody calls them until something goes wrong. Blue Frontier just installed our BF-DOAS™ Unit at the Phoenix Arts & Innovation District (PHXJAX), who are reframing urban redevelopment through an integrated ex*****on of arts infrastructure, commercial activity, and innovation. We are happy to provide a cool and quiet space for artists to flourish. With our unique independent control of temperature and humidity, Blue Frontier is bringing health, safety and comfort to our customers through improved indoor air quality (IAQ). The proven results include increases in employee productivity, student performance and customer satisfaction.

Our recently deployed BF-DOAS™ Unit is 3x more efficient, and will be delivering a 50% reduction in yearly electricity use. The energy storage that is intrinsic to our DOAS unit will allow this important space to contribute to its community by avoiding peak energy usage and the resulting strain on the electric power grid.
