We have expanded our services at Patriot Yard Service! We have always offered pressure washing, but now are dividing and conquering. Garrett is back from BMT and Tech School and is taking over the yard service portion. Kai is focusing on the pressure washing. Sometimes on social media, you're fortunate enough to get to meet someone that you can have a legitimate, meaningful engagement with. I was able to have this with a fella all the way up in North Dakota. He told me of his brother who was a "citizen soldier". With my own son recently signing his name, and taking his oath, to preserve the freedoms and constitutional rights of every American as the same type of Airman in the Air Force, I asked if he'd be willing to tell me his brother's story so it could be shared and his efforts and memory be remembered. This description is about Kenneth Hendrickson from his brother's own words.
Let us all, always be Americans, worth dieing for.

My brother is Kenneth Hendrickson from Bismarck ND. He was a teacher and a janitor for the public schools. He often helped students with schoolwork while doing his janitorial work. Has a son Trevor. Got married right before deployment to Raene. Was with the 957 MRBC with the North Dakota National Guard. He was deployed to Baghdad first, where he stayed in Saddam Hussein's castle. Later he went to Fallujah, where he was lead driver in convoy shipments, as he said these kids have there life to live yet. My brother was one of the older in his unit. He was 41 when he was KIA after striking a road side IED at Fallujah.His passenger, Kieth Smette,was also KIA that day. There is not a day that goes by without remembering him. I have 11 grandkids , none ever met my brother. He has influenced there life on ways he could not imagine. I am also a Veteran. My brother is my hero. And to continue my service to our nation and state I am now running for Governor of ND.

Just a few pics and examples of a house wash we did a couple of days ago. What I'd really like to say though, is the couple we did this job for, the husband served in both the Marine Corp. and the Army. He was in WW2 when he served in the Marines and was then drafted into the Army during the Korean war. For me, it was an honor to do the work for this couple. Thank you to all who have served, but a special thank you to those who served during those wars. You were asked to do the same as today, but with far less advancements and technology.

Some of you know but many don't, that I am the defensive coach for the Parkway High School lacrosse team. It is a position and a responsibility that I take extremely serious. Tonight we play Airline high school, but we do not play only to win. We play to honor the 30 members of our United States military killed on August 6, 2011 when their CH-17 Chinook helicopter, call sign Extortion 17 was shot down. Aboard were 15 members of DEVGRU (SEAL team 6), 2 of those were Lieutenant CommanderJonas B. Kelsall and Special Warfare Operator Chief Petty Officer Robert J. Reeves. Both from Shreveport. Tonight we play to honor the sacrifice and the commitment to duty, honor, and integrity that these and others like them exemplify every day. Both Parkway Lacrosse and Airline Lacrosse thank you. Please come out and support this cause. Half of the gate will go to the Navy SEAL foundation, to help those in need. The more fans that come out the more we can help those that have sacrificed for us. Game time is 7:00 at Preston Crownover Stadium (Parkway Stadium) Thank you.
