A September afternoon with Emily & Josh, wandering through Boston before the season began to change.

So excited to trade Boston brownstones for Spain next year when these two get married. 🤍

I’ve always loved the little choices that make a wedding feel like the people behind it. The dress, the flowers filling the tables, the linens, the china, the setting. And then, right in the middle of all of it, the two people everyone came to celebrate.

There is so much beauty to notice in a setting like this, but I’m always drawn to the people within it. I want to photograph it all. The details that were thoughtfully chosen and the laughter that happens right in the middle of them. 🤍

South Dartmouth was more than just a beautiful place for their wedding. It was home.

The bride grew up here, her parents were married here, and we even photographed their first look in the very area where her father grew up, making it especially meaningful to capture her alongside him that day.

When we first connected over our consultation call, we immediately bonded over our shared love of family. It’s something I hold close personally and something that has always been at the heart of my work.

Getting to photograph their wedding in a place so deeply woven into their family’s history made this day all the more special.

Her mother’s wedding shoes. Her grandmother’s pearl ring. Her grandfather’s ring worn around her neck.

Every piece of her bridal look carried a little family history. And to make it even more special, they returned to the very spot where her parents were married for their own portraits.

A beautiful example of personal style, family tradition, and the stories woven into what we choose to wear.

JOY :: als will not take Whitford’s joy, because her hope is built on a firm foundation. She knows where she’s going, and she knows that one day she will be free from this horrible disease and more alive than ever before.

As I scrolled through Whitford’s photos from our time in Boston, I was overcome with so much joy myself. I had a permanent grin on my face on the airplane as I edited away. ☺️ I was taken instantly back to our time together. Admiring the city we both love!

Whitford, Jesus in you is changing people’s lives. The little seeds you are sowing as you so openly share your life and your testimony will reap a harvest that maybe none of us will ever fully know.

Thank you for making an imprint on my life. 🤍

Lake Placid already held a pretty important place in their story, it’s where they got engaged. So when it came time to choose a place for their session, there really wasn’t much of a question.

We wandered around the lake as the sun went down and ended the evening the only way that made sense: jumping off the dock, swimming for a bit, and warming up by the fire afterward.

A very good night in a place that means a lot to them.

I’ve photographed a lot of wedding ceremonies over the years, but this was a first for me. Both moms officiated the ceremony together. 🥹 Watching them pronounce their children married and then immediately embrace one another was one of those moments that reminds me why I love documenting weddings. 🤍

A wedding where every detail felt like it belonged exactly where it was.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
From the sculptural florals to the tables set beneath the oaks, every corner of Leksi & Gavin’s wedding was thoughtfully considered. And then there was this cake ✨ equal parts art and dessert, created by the incredibly talented Jordan Fry.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
It’s always a joy to photograph celebrations where beautiful design never overshadows what the day is truly about. It simply becomes part of the story. 🤍

A few frames from an afternoon at The Breakers Palm Beach. Palm shadows, ocean air, and the kind of architecture that makes you want to slow down and look up.

These were taken while attending SOCIÉTÉ PRIVÉE | Luxury Wedding Network’s brunch at The Breakers. A morning spent connecting with fellow creatives in a setting that somehow never loses its magic. ✨ Can’t wait to go back!
