Happy Mother’s Day ❤️
This is the last photo I have of my mom and me together.
I miss her more than I can put into words.
Recently, while doing some spring cleaning, I came across her house and car keys. I still can’t bring myself to throw them away. We both had the exact same keychain, and for some reason, holding them makes me feel connected to her still.
What touches me most is how dramatically our relationship transformed over the years. What was once challenging became one of the deepest, most loving, open, honest, unconditional relationships of my life.
She eventually became my best friend, and I will forever be grateful for the love we grew into together.
