WHERE DOES YOUR KITCHEN AIR GO? 🚨
Some kitchen hoods recirculate air through filters. Others exhaust outdoors. If ventilation is poorly installed, grease, moisture, odors, and combustion byproducts may remain indoors: contributing to residue, staining, and poor indoor comfort.
During a home inspection, we document observable conditions, including:
✅ Hood operation and filter condition
✅ Grease buildup, moisture, and unusual odors
✅ Visible duct termination and installation clues
We do not dismantle concealed ductwork or diagnose airflow beyond the inspection scope. Never block vents or modify gas or electrical systems yourself. If exhaust appears inadequate or installation seems unsafe, consult a qualified HVAC or kitchen-ventilation professional.
