Mix & Mingle and The Baxter Hotel are partnering to present Speed Dating at The Baxter on Saturday, April 18th at 7pm in the Baxter Ballroom. This evening will be a fun and efficient way to meet other unattached, like-minded people in the same stage of life. If you’re busy but still open to love (or just looking to meet someone new), this event is for you. One outfit, one night out, multiple chances to connect.

How it works:
You’ll rotate through a series of 3-4 minute long mini-dates — each designed to help you break the ice and get a sense of your chemistry. At the end of the night, you’ll submit your matches privately—and if it’s mutual, we’ll connect you!

We’ll kick things off with a fun mingling activity to match you with your first date and give you a suggested question at the beginning of each date to help ease nerves and spark conversation. Whether you leave with a romantic match or a new friend, you’ll walk away with genuine connections.

This event will host two age ranges simultaneously: 25-39 and 40+. You’ll connect the people in your age range during the speed dating activity but will have an opportunity to mingle with the entire group before, after, and during the break.

Last Friday, 30 of us logged off, got out of their comfort zone, and prioritized in-person connection. These people arrived as strangers and left with new friends, activity partners, and potential dates. It was fun to watch people gather after the speed dating activity and continue conversations that were cut too short, exchange You’ve Been Noticed cards, and make plans to get together again.

I continue to hear from people that have attended previous events, “This is the best one yet! There are so many great people here.” And I have to agree…this community is continuing to grow and continue to be a safe space to connect with really cool people.

What a fun group that joined us at last Friday for our Holiday Pickleball Party. 21 of us filled the courts and had a blast trying something new and mingling with friends.

Mulled wine and cider accompanied by pickle balls and mingle mix with a fire outside brought even more festive fun to the mix.

Huge thank you to Bozeman Classic Pickleball Club for partnering with us on this event. I witnessed people that had never played before absolutely fall in love with this community-building sport.

Thanks to everyone that got out of their comfort zone and tried something new.
