Empact Consultants, LLC Empact Consultants, LLC was started in 2016 by Harold E. Byrd, Jr. The purpose is to insure their awareness of issues, opportunities and resources available.

Our goal is to bring specific knowledge, style, and creativity in order to solve problems with special solutions in a variety of ways. EMPACT will help to positively empower and motivate people to improve their lives and community by:

• developing and maintaining alternative sources to receive news and information

• encouraging open, unbiased discussion of issues, opinion, and civil actions and advocacy

• offering all types of training - personal and spiritual growth, job training, leadership

• develop and provide access to specialized and interactive media and audiences

EMPACT will provide clients with a community platform for open discussion of issues, especially to typically under-represented groups. Conversely, EMPACT helps insure that government, organization and corporate goals and objectives are reached through community inclusiveness, diversity and multiculturalism.

The East Bradenton Pool has been closed for the first time this summer. This pool has had many historical impacts to the African American Community.
Over 6 decades ago I learned to swim there with many neighbors from Bradenton, Palmetto, Rubonia, and Tallevast. Even though this is a Manatee County Park they will be coming before the Bradenton City Council for an important decision on it's fate on Wednesday October 14th at 8:30 am.
