Kayak safety tips for the water 🚣‍♂️🌊

1. Always wear a life jacket
Even strong swimmers can get into trouble fast. Make sure life jacket fits correctly.

2. Check the weather before heading out
Wind, storms, and sudden temperature changes can make paddling dangerous.

3. Tell someone your plan
Let someone know where you’re going and when you’ll be back.

4. Stay close to shore if you’re new
It’s safer and easier if conditions change.

5. Bring your phone in a waterproof case
