- Put it away not down, stops the build up from the start
- Create a home for every item so it has a place to go
- Create a drop zone by the door for coats, shoes, and small items so they don’t end up on the floor
- Take 5 minutes at the end of the day to return items to where they belong.
- Go through monthly cycles of decluttering to keep items from piling up in your home overall.

These strategies can keep clutter out of your home, for good!

Check out this monthly giveaway event in Belfair! Like us, Bouchard Hauling wants to keep as many useable items out of the dump and get them to people who need them. Swing by and see what you can find! Everything is FREE, but donations are accepted to support The Salmon Center are encouraged.

Through the almost FIVE years we have been in business, we have been amazed at the items we pick up on jobs.

We have always strived to do our best with minimizing what actually ends up at the landfill. Between donations, our storage unit, and The Bouchard Boutique, we have saved hundreds, even thousands of items. Yet we still couldn't save them all. We needed to find another way.

The items that donation facilities deny and the items that don't quite fit into the boutique, where could they go? This brings us to Operation FREE BAY.

We have partnered with The Salmon Center who has graciously offered space at their barn to bring this vision to light. Once a month, THE LAST FRIDAY, doors will open to public from 11AM-1PM. During this time, our community can come and find items FREE of charge. This is our way of saving even more from ending up in our landfills. Though items will be FREE, we strongly encourage making a donation to The Salmon Center to support their mission.

Our FIRST Operation FREE BAY will be JUNE 26TH! Don't miss this awesome event, everyone is sure to find something they could use all at the cost of FREE. Help us by supporting our mission to reduce what ends up at our landfill. Will we see you there?

🚪Out the Door: this system ensures that the entryway keeps things flowing. There’s a place for your kids items so they can easily be found and put back at the beginning and end of the day. Wall hooks for bags and jackets, shoe racks, and trays for small items.

🍇Kitchen Snack Zone: Quick grab-and-go items placed in an area that is easy for your kids to access. Also, keep lunchboxes, reusable cups, etc. together in a low cabinet for quick and easy access as well.

🧸5-Minute Tidy: Resetting your home in under 5 minutes? That’s a win. Set a timer for just 5 minutes. Pick one area of your home and ask yourself one simple question: "What doesn’t belong here?" Grab those things and return them to where they live. Every item should have a home. And there you go, you’re reset for the next day!

This can help you have a home that feels amazing, making back to school time not so stressful!
