✨ Last Week’s 10-Minute Presenter: Angela Leipold with The Morris in Glen Elk!

We had the opportunity to learn more about Angela Leipold and one of North Central West Virginia’s most unique event venues — The Morris.

Before returning home to Clarksburg, Angela spent 25 years running high-profile special events in Washington, D.C. and across the country for the Smithsonian Institution. One of the highlights of her career was helping lead the opening of the National Museum of the American Indian, including its opening ceremony and months of private celebrations.

Today, Angela brings that incredible event experience back to her roots at The Morris in Glen Elk — a beautifully restored, industrial-chic venue featuring 10,000 square feet of exposed brick, original hardwood floors, and historic character. 🤍

From some of the area’s biggest events to unforgettable wedding celebrations, The Morris provides a truly one-of-a-kind backdrop for bringing people together.

This week, we had the pleasure of hearing from our Member Spotlight Speaker, Kayla Smith, owner of OPEX Fitness Bridgeport and OPEX Fitness Morgantown! 💪

Another incredible Wednesday with the BNI Bridgeport Excelsior chapter!

This week’s presentation was given by our own Avery Williams of Dish’d, who shared her entrepreneurial journey, the story behind the business, the services Dish’d offers today, and the exciting vision for what’s next. It was a great reminder that every successful business starts with passion, persistence, and a willingness to keep growing.
