I must’ve really wanted to be at this event. 😂

With all the chaos at Newark Airport this month, I had to avoid it like the plague and fly out of Philly instead—which meant a 6 AM flight and a 1.5-hour drive before the sun even came up. 🌅 (Great vibes, questionable life choices.)

And now, as luck would have it, my flight home is delayed… so here I am, currently posted up at the Kansas City airport, running on cold coffee and adrenaline after an incredible few days at the Culture Index Mentee Experience. ☕✈️

I walked in expecting to learn a few new strategies—what I didn’t expect was to be in a room where nearly every conversation challenged my thinking. The depth of knowledge, the open sharing of real wins and real losses, the live diagnostics, and the collaborative coaching… it was the kind of experience that shifts how you think.

Here’s my biggest takeaway:
👉 It’s not about doing more.
👉 It’s about doing it with the right people.

Get the right people on the bus, in the right seats, and suddenly the “how” becomes a lot easier. 🚍

So many businesses are stuck treating symptoms—burnout, missed targets, high turnover—when the real issue is misalignment. But when you understand how your people are wired, what drives them, and how they work best, everything changes.

Culture Index isn’t just about hiring—it’s a revenue growth strategy. 📈🔥

If you’re serious about growing your business, increasing revenue, and building a team that actually works… we should talk.

You don’t need more meetings.
You need better alignment.

So, I’m addicted to Timehop… you know, that feature on Facebook that shows you all your posts from the same day in previous years. It’s the first thing I check every morning before I even get out of bed. Yes, I know, it’s a bad habit, but I’m not seeking help for it just yet. 😂

This morning, Timehop took me back to Easter 2017. OMG, my girls were so cute! I used to have them in matching dresses every year. Still melts my heart. 💖

Earlier today my youngest (now 8) asked if the Easter Bunny would bring her a Pink Palm Puff sweatshirt, since her sisters got one for Christmas and she was left out. Oh no! I didn't buy one of those and they take WEEKS to get delivered. I responded with, “The Easter Bunny isn’t bringing you one. Those things are like $90, and you’d probably stain it in a day.”

She wasn’t having it. “What does it matter what it costs if the Easter Bunny’s bringing it?” Cue panic mode. 🐣

Now I’m sweating, knowing there’s ZERO chance I can get that sweatshirt delivered by Sunday. So, I said, “No, the Easter Bunny doesn’t bring sweatshirts, and I don’t think he’s changing his policy this year.” Problem solved, right? Hopefully, the 47 pounds of candy she’ll get on Sunday will distract her enough that she won’t notice the lack of sweatshirt. 😂

But as I sit here thinking about the Easter Bunny, I’ve got to say—he’s one talented bunny. 🐇

Here’s what he’s got going for him:

🔹 Multitasking Master: Managing a global egg delivery mission. Efficiency at its finest.
🔹 Stealth Mode: Getting it all done without anyone noticing. Pure ninja-level stealth.
🔹 Perfect Timing: His precision is on point. Every move matters.
🔹 Problem Solving: Dodging obstacles like pets, weather, or potential disasters? No sweat.
🔹 Master of Logistics: Flawlessly executing a massive operation.

Where he falls short:

🔹Delivering sweatshirts when mom hears about the request 4 days in advance!

This got me thinking—the Easter Bunny’s talents aren’t too different from what teams need to succeed. With Culture Index, we can pinpoint strengths and align talents with the right roles. This way, your team operates with the same level of coordination and efficiency as the Easter Bunny—minus the egg deliveries, of course. 😜

For those who celebrate—Happy Easter! 🐣🌷

When I started my career, I wasn’t thinking about data, alignment, or performance strategies—I was helping teenagers figure out what came next in life. But even then, the goal was the same as it is today: to help people find the right fit.

These days, that mission looks a little different. Now I work with CEOs and executive teams, helping them see what’s really driving—or dragging—performance and revenue. It’s not always about hiring more. Sometimes it’s about making better use of the team they already have.

It’s not about finding warm bodies to fill seats. It’s about finding unicorns who belong in them. 🦄If you’re a leader trying to grow your business without burning out your team—or yourself—you’ll probably relate to this story.

Thank you to the Thrive team for capturing it so thoughtfully.

Just got back from another unforgettable trip to Nairobi, and this one hit a little differently. ✈️

The first time I visited Kenya, I was nervous—I didn’t know what to expect. Fast forward to this trip… and I found myself running into people I already knew. In Nairobi. What?! 😄

There’s something surreal about being on another continent and realizing that the web of relationships you’ve built has quietly expanded across borders. 🌍

This trip was the perfect blend of business, culture, and connection.

💼 I spent a few days with Kush Nathwani and his team at Apex Steel Ltd, who are doing incredibly impressive work.

🎉 I got to celebrate Greek Independence Day with my favorite Greek client, Eleni Georgopoulou. I’ll never say no to feta or great conversation.

🎤 And thanks to Akshay Shah (the gift that keeps on giving—he’s made so many meaningful introductions for me!) and his son Akaash Shah, I had the honor of speaking at a YPO event—a room full of 35 driven entrepreneurs—about using Culture Index to drive clarity, alignment, and growth in their businesses.

The questions, the energy, the openness in the room—it reminded me exactly why I love doing this work. 💡

So yeah… this trip was incredible. Not just for what I got to do, but for who I got to do it with.

(And yes, I’m jet lagged—because of course that’s the first thing everyone asks 😅) Also, the weather was really nice. Like literal weather perfection! 🌞

Until next time, Nairobi—I’ll be back soon!

As the President of the BNI Patriots, the largest BNI (Business Network International) chapter in New Jersey 💪, I had the opportunity to present to almost 150 business owners at the Somerset County BNI Training this week on the benefits of 1-to-1s in networking.

Networking isn’t just about slinging business cards and hoping for the best. 1-to-1s are a chance to connect on a deeper level. It’s about understanding the other person’s business, their challenges, and how you can genuinely help them. These conversations can lead to meaningful relationships and opportunities. The BNI motto, “Giver’s Gain,” is spot on—when you focus on helping others, the opportunities naturally follow.

A few tips I shared during my presentation to make your 1-to-1s more effective:

🔹 Be genuinely curious: Dive into their goals and challenges. If you’re only waiting to talk about your own business, it’s a pitch, not a conversation.

🔹 Follow through: Don’t just talk—send a recap email, schedule the next conversation, and actually follow up. Trust is built through consistency.

🔹 Track your 1-to-1s: Keep a record of your connections and revisit them regularly. The more you stay connected, the more you’ll grow your network—and your business.

Building relationships is key to successful networking. These tips can seriously elevate your networking game. So go ahead, schedule that next 1-to-1, and remember to follow up. It could be the start of something awesome.

Also, have we not connected in a while? I’m guilty of sometimes not practicing what I preach, so DM me, and let’s make time to reconnect.

I get asked about my bracelets all the time. They’re from Little Words Project, and they’re not just accessories—they’re little reminders I carry with me every day.

This morning, during a workshop, someone said, “How nice, you have your daughters’ names on your bracelets.” I had to laugh—because from where he was sitting, he couldn’t actually read them.

“Nope,” I told him. (Though that would probably be a very “mom” thing to do.) These are actually my businesses… and a few phrases I like to remind myself of throughout the day.”

Here’s what they say:
✨ City Lifestyle
✨ You Got This
✨ No Worries
✨ Culture Index

Because honestly, my businesses are kind of like my babies. And since I don’t have any tattoos, this is my way of carrying little reminders with me... without the lifelong commitment.

Now, I’m thinking my next bracelet might say “Let Them.” (If you know, you know.)

What phrases do you remind yourself of daily? Drop them in the comments—maybe I’ll add a new one to the collection.

I used to think that the best salespeople were always the ones who could work a room, charm a crowd, and never met a stranger. (You know, the classic extroverts who can talk their way out of a parking ticket.) Turns out… I was wrong.

🔹 Some of the BEST salespeople I’ve worked with are actually quiet, methodical, and strategic.
🔹 Some of the WORST salespeople? Outgoing, likable, and full of energy—but lacking follow-through.

Here’s the thing: being “good with people” doesn’t automatically make you a great salesperson. And yet, so many businesses hire based on personality instead of performance DNA—leading to costly mistakes.
Culture Index has shown me that sales success is all about drive, resilience, and adaptability.

☑️It’s about who will pick up the phone after 10 no’s.
☑️It’s about who follows the process and keeps their pipeline full.
☑️It’s about who is wired to WIN.

So before you hire your next salesperson, ask yourself:
⚡ Are you hiring someone who looks the part—or someone who will actually perform?
⚡ Do you want a great conversationalist—or a closer?
⚡ Would you rather guess—or use data to get it right the first time?

Let’s stop hiring based on gut instinct and start using science to get the right people in the right seats. Trust me, your revenue will thank you.

📊 Curious how this works? Let’s talk! 👇

Raise your hand if you’re a control freak. 🙋‍♀️ (Mine is WAY up!)

At the EO New Jersey luncheon yesterday, Dr. Srikumar Rao, founder of The Rao Institute—aka The Happiness Guru—didn’t hold back, calling every single one of us out. “You think you are chill? You are all control freaks! Every last one of you!” And honestly? He was spot on.

We brought in Dr. Rao to share his wisdom on “How to Eradicate Stress and Cultivate Extreme Resilience,” and let’s just say… I quickly realized I had some work to do! 😒

His message? Stress isn’t about what’s happening to you—it’s about how much you’re trying to control it. “Once you accept, truly accept, that stuff will happen to you and there is nothing you can do about it, stress miraculously leaves your life.”

Let that one sink in.

As entrepreneurs, parents, and just humans in general, we spend so much energy gripping the wheel tighter. But what if we loosen our grip just a little? What if we trusted that we’d handle whatever came our way—without the extra stress?

Not saying I’m fully reformed yet… but I’m working on it... sorta.

Who else needs to hear this today? Drop a 🙋‍♂️🙋‍♀️ if you’re with me!

The other day, I asked a group of entrepreneurs a simple question:
“When do you know it’s time to fill up your gas tank?” ⛽

The answers were all over the place—some said when the tank hits half or a quarter full. Others? They’re living life on the edge, waiting until that little gas light forces them into action.

I could see the horror in the eyes of the planners. “I did that once, NEVER again!” Meanwhile, the risk-takers in the room got a kick out of the adrenaline rush of coasting on fumes.

As we dug into their traits, a pattern emerged. Those with high conformity? They were topping off their tanks with precision. The low-conformity crowd? They were rolling the dice, pushing their limits. 🚗💨

Where do you land in this great gas tank debate?

A) I fill up at half a tank – can’t risk it!
😎 A quarter tank is my sweet spot.
C) I wait until the light comes on – thrill of the chase!
D) I’ve run out of gas more times than I’d like to admit. 😅

If you’re wondering where I stand...let’s just say the photo of my dashboard last week would make the planners in the room very, very uncomfortable. 😜

What a way to kick off 2025! 🌟I'm at the airport right now heading home from the Culture Index Annual Meeting in Delray Beach, and I have to admit—I felt a little out of my league walking into that room. The people there? Hands down some of the most driven, ambitious, and strategic individuals I’ve ever met. Culture Index is very intentional about selecting advisors—they use data to find the right fit—and the result is a group of assertive go-getters who are constantly raising the bar.

So, yeah, those meetings are a bit intimidating, to say the least. It’s hard not to compare yourself to the veterans who have been doing this for years. But that’s also what made it so inspiring. It was a reminder that growth doesn’t come from staying comfortable—it comes from surrounding yourself with people who challenge and push you to be better.

Throughout the year, I’ve been bouncing around the leaderboard, grabbing a few top-three spots but never quite landing in the number one position. It felt like the universe decided to align everything just when I needed it most—Saturday was my moment! Kicking off the Annual Meeting as the top rookie for the month was incredibly validating and the perfect way to start the weekend on a high note.🏆

I walked away from this weekend with so much knowledge and inspiration, and I can’t wait to bring that back to the clients and teams I work with. Here’s to a year of growth, learning, and big wins—let’s make 2025 one to remember! 🚀
