This summer, we had the opportunity to help provide livestream management assistance for the first season of a new sporting venture, Team Combat League!

It was truly a joy watching this product come together, week after week. Comparing the first broadcast with the last, you'll notice how much the show improved; the commentators got more comfortable on camera, the action got more streamlined, and the audience/engagement numbers grew and grew!

We were tasked with rebroadcasting fight-nights to numerous social media channels, as well as working with partners to get their mirror streams up and running. Sounds simple at first, until you run into finnicky interfaces on lesser known platforms, or when Hurricane Hillary knocks out the stream from Los Angeles. Thankfully the show went on!

A longtime client wanted to work with me for an in-person / hybrid event, even though I had not officially done that before.

And well, I just got back from Tech Directing the 3 day event... in ITALY! Very cool experience.

Project included pre-event consulting, working with foreign (non-english speaking) technicians, Audio/Video + Streaming Production, taking care of sponsored virtual presenters, archiving + editing the whole thing, and even some light Emcee work which I was bizarrely prepared for!

I was told that I "run a tight ship", and that I'm "impressive on the mic". NGL, the countless repetitions running virtual events (CE Courses, Symposiums, etc) was the perfect warmup.

Hopefully I get to do more of this stuff, and SOON!

We had the privilege of producing a hybrid broadcast for a very special private event at The Palm House At The Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. Our Lead Director, Gill, was personally on-site overseeing all technical aspects of production.

In addition to the audience there in-person, the event was enjoyed by many watching live over Zoom.

And (perhaps most interesting of all) because of our archival expertise, this event will live on forever.
