I am a human of pure nostalgia. I love anything that takes me back/reminds me of great memories.I never want to let thing go. Music has that effect to take me back very quickly to a happier time or situation. My journey to foreign territory aka the Bronx in search of The Greatest Day Ever and I shall say it definitely lived up to its name. DAY 1: To my surprise it really that bad of a travel to get to the festival. Although it took 2 hours it was totally worth it. Just standing in the area to get in you can tell its just a different vibe. A different vibe from the scenery and two different vibes from the people. Maybe I'm just way to calm, accepting, relaxed or open minded. I try to find the positive in mostly everything, even 20 hour air plane flights. When I mentioned my journey to the land of smiles the first question I got was "How long is the flight?" And after replying "A Day" (it was really 20 hours but that was way to many syllables to keep repeating) the reactions were "Oh no i cant do that, that's way to long to be in one spot, why you going so far, and blah blah blah". Not to be confused with the movie about the va**na eating pen*ses... Yup thats an actual movie and I've seen it but im talking about the ones in your mouth. Many take for granted or just dont pay attention to the teeth they have and wait forever to either get them checked or taken out. Kotaku and io9 held their first Cosplay Ball in New York presented by Drangon Ball Xenoverse 2. I was uber excited to go but sadly lacked in cosplay get up because I am such a procrastinator. But have no fear! My Harry Potter jumper seriously can in handy and I went as Harmonie. Held at Studio 17 there was music by Dj Cutman, a photobooth, food, drinks and even a 3D printing station.I really had a great time. [ 65 more words ]

Don't ever let anyone tell you that there is not an open door for you in New York City because they're always is.Whether it's a restaurant, clothing store or a bar, the door is always open especially with galleries. Coming upon Highland Park walking past a building full of windows with the door wide open was the Allouche Gallery. What caught my eye was a huge sculpture by Faile standing in the window *it kind of reminded me of Alison in Wonderland with a skateboard* and I thought to myself how could I not going in. .About 5 hours....that's how long we: me and the hundreds of ppl waited to get into Refinery 29's 29Rooms. 29Rooms is an art & fashion fun house made up with celebrity collaborations steaming from topics of beauty, music, the environment, etc; with each room carrying a different theme.
