Hey yall! I'm Kristen Holt, and for those that don’t know me, it’s time to reintroduce myself. I’m a wife and mother of two beautiful children. Aspiring entrepreneur with a passion for business, who relocated from New York to Central Virginia two years ago.

For more than 15 years, I've worked alongside businesses in a variety of operational and financial roles, gaining extensive experience in business operations, payroll, bookkeeping, tax filings, accounts receivable, accounts payable, compliance, and administrative support. That experience has given me a broad understanding of what it takes to build, manage, and grow a successful business.

In addition to my professional background, my husband and I owned and operated a successful landscaping and excavation business in New York. Being a business owner has given me firsthand insight into the day-to-day challenges entrepreneurs face—from managing employees and payroll to tracking job costs, maintaining compliance, and balancing the countless responsibilities that come with running a growing company. I understand these challenges because I've experienced them myself.

Today, Holt Business Solutions was created to provide small businesses with dependable, all-in-one support. My service experience ranges from business formations and payroll to human resource support, bookkeeping, tax filings, notary services, and day-to-day back-office operations.
