When I was in corporate, I got promoted almost every year. I’d get bored in a role so quickly that within 10 months, I'd be asking for a new challenge—or I'd be ready to quit. 😅 It sounds like a humble brag, right? But here’s the real story.
I was working 80-hour weeks, consumed by work 24/7, and losing myself in the process. When I finally left to start my own business, I faced an identity crisis. After being in leadership roles since I was 20, I had to rediscover who I was without a job that took over my life.
Leaving corporate was the best decision I made. It allowed me to reset, set boundaries, and embrace my new identity (it's mainly a dog mom who talks to animals and goes to bed at 10 pm).
If you’re feeling stuck, consider this your nudge to take the leap. It’s tough, but it’s transformative.
