We have 6 beautiful Labradors located in Brownsville, TX. and 1 in Lampasas, TX. We have a family owned ranch located in the Texas Hill country.

Our dogs are registered under American Kennel Club (AKC) and are named after this family ranch.

Raising puppies, Raising Purpose

Here at Shroyer Ranch, our Labs aren’t kept out back in a kennel. They’re right in the middle of our family. They swim with the kids, steal spots on the couch, get way too many snuggles, and keep us laughing every single day. 😂🐶

That’s where it all starts. From day one our puppies are handled, loved on, socialized, and started on early training. So by the time they head home with you, they’re ready for real life: kids, noise, new people, all of it.

And we’ve seen what that kind of start can do. Some of our Labs go on to be therapy dogs, walking hospital halls and bringing smiles to people who really need one or service dogs. Some are great hunters but all are a great additions to the family 💙 That’s what we’re raising: dogs who make a difference, whether that’s for a whole community or just one family.

Small paws. Big futures. 🐾

Meet the handler time!!! Faith Perez and she is the handler of the sweetest therapy dog, Mila Moore! 🐾❤️ Faith has served as a dog handler in our therapy dog ministry for two years and also serves in Livingway Kidz—“the best ministry,” according to her totally unbiased opinion! ☺️ She loves painting, DIY projects, making little vlogs, and anything that lets her creativity shine. Outside of church, you’ll find her spending time with friends, making matcha, reading her Bible, and currently spending way too much time planning her wedding! 💍😂 Mila is the sweetest, most loving girl, with a gentle personality and a special way of knowing when someone needs a little extra love, a hug, or a friend by their side. Together, these two bring warmth, comfort, and plenty of smiles wherever they go! 🐶💕

The sweetest kind of chocolate is coming just in time for fall! 🍫🍂🐾

We are thrilled to announce that Echo & Goose are expecting a beautiful litter of Chocolate Labrador 🙏 puppies in late October! 🤎 (we will see if it’s all chocolate or sprinkled with a little black and yellow).

This will be Echo’s third litter and an extra-special first for Shroyer Ranch Labs - we are in hopes for our first chocolate litter!

The team was out this week making a difference in the lives of people. ❤️🐾 Thanks to Mely and Enrique for filling in for us while we were out. And thanks to Zach for helping pass out games, stickers and trading cards to the patients.

IT’S MEET THE HANDLER TIME!

Meet Jorge, he is Marley’s hope partner! Jorge has been serving as a handler on our Livingway therapy dog team for two years. Together, they have the opportunity to connect with people, share a little joy, and bring comfort through their visits. Along the way Jorge has learned about Marley and Marley about Jorge. They know each other and trust each other and love impressing people with tricks.

On Sundays, you’ll find Jorge serving on our worship team at Livingway. Music is also something he enjoys outside of church, along with visiting people and staying active through running and cycling!

And of course, we can’t introduce Jorge without telling you a little about Marley! Jorge describes Marley as loving, fun, and loyal—three qualities that make this furry teammate such a special part of the ministry. Their visits create opportunities to slow down, spend time with others, and share God’s love in a simple and meaningful way.

Today, we hope you get to know Jorge a little better and enjoy hearing about his experience serving alongside Marley and the others on this team. Let’s hear his story!
