A new Startup Texas cohort is officially underway at eBridge Center.

The businesses entering this program are at different stages and solving different problems, but they now have the same assignment: take a hard look at the business, stress-test their plans, and prepare to make the case for why it can grow.

There’s a lot of work between Day One and Demo Day. We can’t wait to share what’s next.

Valley founders aren't playing around this time!

70 founders have started a Startup Texas Accelerator application! Only 20 have hit submit. If yours is one of the 50 sitting in draft, this is your sign to complete your draft. 🗣️

This is the final cohort funded under BCIC's EDA grant, with programming valued at more than $200,000, including a full year of incubation at the eBridge Center. Weekly mentorship runs Tuesdays from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. with the UTRGV Entrepreneurship and Commercialization Center, leading up to Demo Day on December 10.

Only 10 founders will be accepted into the next Startup Texas cohort and the applications are already rolling in.

Startup Texas is a 12-week in-person accelerator at the eBridge Center in Brownsville for businesses in emerging industries: AI, aerospace, clean energy, cybersecurity, digital health, advanced manufacturing, logistics, software, and robotics.

Selected founders get weekly workshops, mentorship, pitch coaching, investor access, and a spot at the final Pitch Fest — a public event where you present your company to the community and a panel of judges.

In the past two years, the program has incubated over 70 entrepreneurs right here in the RGV.

If your application is sitting in drafts, now is the time to finish it. If you haven't started yet, you still can — and you can save your progress and come back to it.

If you're building a business in AI, aerospace, clean energy, cybersecurity, digital health, advanced manufacturing, logistics, software, or robotics, this program was built for you.

Serious applicants only. We're looking for founders with a proven idea with traction, a viable business model, and the drive to grow it.

Selected founders join a 12-week in-person program at the eBridge Center in Brownsville, Texas.

Every week, you'll work through specialized workshops, one-on-one mentorship sessions, financial projection refinement, and pitch practice. A select few will be ready for our closing Pitch Fest, where they get to present their startup to a panel of judges and a community willing to invest in them.

You'll get media exposure, access to investors, and direct feedback from industry specialists who've been where you're trying to go.

Startup Texas Accelerator is a free program powered by Brownsville Community Improvement Corporation , UTRGV Entrepreneurship & Commercialization Center, and the EDA.
