Yesterday, Harold and I had the pleasure of joining House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries, Congressman Tim Kennedy, and local labor and community leaders at Evergreen Commons during Leader Jeffries’ visit to Buffalo.
The discussion focused on issues directly affecting families throughout Western New York—including access to affordable healthcare and the rising cost of living.
As someone whose work is deeply rooted in community outreach, I value opportunities that bring elected officials, labor leaders and community voices together to address the issues that matter most.
Meaningful change begins with meaningful conversation—and with leaders willing to listen.
