Aircraft Simulator Training

We are excited by the progress our builder is making. Our simulators will be up and running by mid-September. We will begin scheduling pilots for training on October 1, 2019. It has been a very long process. Thank you to everyone for your patience.

Earlier this month, we had the incredible honor of spending time with a WWII P47 Pilot, Darryl. It was great to spend some time with him in one of our sims. While Darryl enjoyed the new technology, it was our pleasure to spend time with a true American Hero. Darryl's experiences as a pilot during the war are the things that inspire books and movies. He was involved in an emergency landing, a midair collision in which he had to bail out, and finally he spent the final months of the war as a POW. Thank you Darryl for your service!

Bert had a 26-year career as a TWA captain where he was a DC9/MD80 FAA Line Check Airman. After retiring from TWA, he went to work for Netjets as a captain on the Citation VII and Gulfstream aircraft.

Very cool things going on over at Aircraft Simulator Training! Ever wonder what it would be like to be in the cockpit the day Sully landed on the Hudson River? The instructors at AST have created a training module for their state of the art flight sims that let's you very realistically recreate the flight scenario from that fateful day. This is an invaluable tool in training pilots!
