One of the hardest parts of caring for pets is saying goodbye.

We grow close to them as we care for them when their favorite humans are away. We learn their likes and dislikes, quirks and routines, what excites them, what comforts them, and all the little things that make them uniquely themselves.

When a long, happy, well-loved life comes to an end, our hearts are heavy. But we are so grateful to have known them and for the trust their families place in us to love and care for them along the way.

Rest in peace, sweet girl. 🐾 ❤️
