Well, today didn’t go so great. Hopefully tomorrow will be better. I’m going to be in Caledonia, Belgrade, and Potosi tomorrow. Im not going to be able to go down backroads or driveways. I’m very sorry for the inconvenience, and thank you for your patience!

Due to poor road conditions, there is a lot of uncertainty with how this week will look for trash pick up. I plan to try to get as many customers as possible this week, but also keeping safety in mind. If your road is at all covered still, I likely will not make it this week, but will get everyone caught up next week. I’m sorry for the inconvenience.

Good morning!

We will be out and picking up our Thursday route today, but getting a much later start this morning. We will not be going down any driveways or covered roads. If possible, please bring your trash to the bottom of your driveway.

For those on my Wednesday route, I will be getting out tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday to get to as many of you as possible. Again, if your road is still covered, it may be next week before I get to you. All bag limits will be waived if I’m unable to get your trash this week.

Good morning,

Because of the weather and the road conditions, we will not be picking up today. Trust us when we say we are just as tired of this as all of you.

We will be playing the rest of the week by ear, but do plan on getting out each day from here on out (including all weekend) to get caught up as much as we can.

We will post daily what that day’s route will be.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we get through these last weeks of winter.

Update for Wednesday February 12th.

Today I planned on starting my route at 11:00PM to avoid as much of the bad weather as possible. When starting my truck there was a major leak in the air brake system (which made it not drivable). I wasn’t able to get a replacement part until 8:00 AM. Once up and running, the route north of Potosi on Hwy 21 quickly became unsafe to drive on due to the sleet.

Driving from Potosi to Bonne Terre, the road conditions improved drastically. Conditions are obviously all over the place with some spots being simply wet and some being very icy. That makes it very tricky for me to know which roads are fine and which arent.

I was only able to pick up 30 customers on my route today before calling it quits. That means most of my Wednesday route did not get picked up today. The rest of my week’s routes are full, but any spare time I have tomorrow
before the dump closes, I do plan on getting to as many of you as possible.

Please note- this info only applies to my Wednesday customers. Thursday and Friday pick ups will be unchanged.

I am so sorry for any inconvenience this causes. I hate missing customers and I hate letting anyone down, but sometimes things happen that are unfortunately out of our control. As always, I appreciate the understanding and dedicated business from all my customers.

For my Wednesday customers. Im broke down this morning. Should be up and running sometime after 8:00 A.M. (waiting for part store to open)
